NEXEC was established on the understanding that youth unemployment and economic marginalisation cannot be resolved through protest alone, nor through policy intent that fails to translate into delivery. It therefore positions young people not as symbolic participants in the economy, but as professional actors, advisors, designers, and implementers within it.
NEXEC therefore positions itself deliberately between the state, capital, and young people. It translates youth realities into institutional language, and institutional mandates into implementable economic interventions. This intermediary role is central to its identity and purpose.
