Alongside the national calendar, NEXEC is working through a set of provincial and institutional engagements — formal invitations, approved proposals and partnerships in development. Dates and terms are confirmed and published once agreed with the relevant institution.
Strategic Engagement with the North West Department of Economic Development, Environment, Conservation and Tourism (DEDECT)
DEDECT has formally invited NEXEC to explore a strategic partnership spanning youth economic participation, enterprise development, investment attraction, the green economy and tourism enterprise development, with a possible Memorandum of Understanding under discussion.
Mpumalanga Business–Government Sectoral Conclaves & Delegation Visit
Following the NEXEC Business–Government Conclave, the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature has approved NEXEC’s proposal for a benchmarking delegation visit, working toward a series of provincial Sectoral Conclaves across agriculture, mining and energy, tourism and transport, and the creative economy.
NEXEC KwaZulu-Natal Business–Government Breakfast
A Durban-hosted breakfast convening bringing government, business and youth leaders into one working session — the first step in NEXEC’s provincial footprint in KZN, focused on port and logistics inclusion, SEZ participation and youth enterprise in agro-processing.
NEXEC–NYDA Strategic Partnership
Following an introductory engagement with the National Youth Development Agency on 27 July 2026, NEXEC and NYDA are working toward a formal partnership agreement. A joint follow-up workshop is being scheduled to build out the implementation plan ahead of a Memorandum of Understanding.
NEXEC National Economic Summit
The organisation’s principal national platform. Two days, one agenda, and a deliberate refusal to let the conversation stay comfortable.
The Summit assembles national and provincial government, municipalities, state-owned entities, listed corporates, development finance institutions, organised labour, civil society and youth institutions around a single structured agenda on economic inclusion and delivery.
Unlike most national convenings, the Summit closes with published commitments and a twelve-month accountability review presented at the following year’s edition.
